Taylor Swift has announced that "Wildest Dreams" will be the next single off of her record breaking 1989 album. "Dreams" will follow chart topping singles like "Shake it Off," "Bad Blood" and "Blank Space." "Dreams" will be the fifth single off of 1989.

The first three singles off of 1989 have all topped the Billboard Hot 100 charts.

Swift spoke to NPR regarding the inspiration and songwriting process behind "Wildest Dreams." "If I meet someone who I feel I have a connection with, the first thought I have is: 'When this ends, I hope it ends well. I hope you remember me well.' Which is not anything close to the way I used to think about relationships," Swift said. "It's that realization that it's the anomaly if something works out; it's not a given."

The "Bad Blood" singer announced the news to fans on Twitter as she took a break from her 1989 World Tour. Along with selling out stadiums around the world and increasing her friendship squad on a daily basis, Swift is also breaking records with 1989.

As previously reported, 1989 has become the fastest selling album in more than ten years, already passing $5 million in sales in the United States. This is the third album from Swift to reach over $5 million.
