Taylor Swift has taken over the world with her endless sold-out concerts, her famous friendships, and her intriguing feuds. Swift opens up about how she handles it all.
Swift is well aware that she has dated a lot of people throughout her life, but she has no regrets. The singer viewed every relationship as a learning experience and believed that they made her a wiser and stronger person.
After many failed boyfriends, Swift made a promise that she would never enter another relationship that made her change who she was.
“If I found someone who would never try to change me, that would be the only person I could fall in love with,” explains Swift.
Entertainment Tonight informs that the singer didn’t talk about her new boyfriend Calvin Harris, but she did admit that her search for love was over. This could mean that she has found what she was searching for with Harris.
Swift value of love and trust is also what she looks for when making friends. When asked about her famous friend group, Swift called it a “sisterhood.” She talked about the importance of remaining loyal and how she always put her girls before a guy.
“In this climate, when it’s so hard for women to be understood and portrayed the right way in the media … now more than ever we need to be good and kind to each other.”
Swift obviously takes her friendships very seriously, so if anyone crosses her they are out.
“I don’t make the same mistake twice. I make new ones, but I don’t usually repeat old ones.”
When asked about her feud with Katy Perry was brought up, she didn’t say the singer’s name, but she did imply that Perry had betrayed her in the past.
As for her fight with Kayne West, it is all water under the bridge now, reports Vanity Fair.
Swift explained that in order for her to forgive West, she needed him to respect her. After her continued success, West saw that Swift was the real deal and reached out to compliment her music and all her accomplishments.
