After touring with Nicki Minaj all summer, Tinashe has announced that she is preparing to release her sophomore album.
The "2 On" singer told Billboard that she has recorded 30 songs for the upcoming album, which is "tentatively scheduled" for a November release.
Tinashe also revealed four song titles and teased what to expect from each of them. "Player" is a dance-pop song produced by hitmaker Max Martin. "Joyride" is a "ratchet" song produced by Hit-Boy and Travi$ Scott. "Party Favors" is a hip-hop inspired, "substance-praising anthem" produced by Boi-1da. The R&B singer also worked with Joel Compass on "Fire and Flames," a sensual track.
"There's politics involved in everything," Tinashe said about her record label, RCA. "It's about them getting it together to master my schedule. The old rules of 'we need to work this album for the next two years' don't apply anymore."
Katy Perry announced in an Instagram post that Tinashe will be joining her Prismatic World Tour during select dates on the South American leg, starting Sept. 29.
