The Jeepers Creepers horror series will finally get a third film thanks to Myriad Pictures. Victor Salva, who directed the first two films, will also be back, along with producer Francis Ford Coppola.

Myriad announced today that it will finance the film and production should start in Vancouver next year, notes Variety. Jonathan Breck will be back to play the Creeper and Brandon Smith will play Sgt. Davis Tubbs again.

Coppola’s American Zoetrope will co-produce Jeepers Creepers 3 with Odyssey Media and The Cartel. Producers are Coppola, Kirk D’Amico of Myriad, Kirk Shaw of Odyssey and Stan Spry of The Cartel.

“Writing and directing a new Jeepers film, the first in over a decade, is incredibly exciting,” Salva said in a statement to Bloody Disgusting. “For me and I believe for Jeepers fans all over the world that have been asking for more.”

Jeepers Creepers 3 comes over a decade after 2003’s Jeepers Creepers II. The first film was released in 2001 and both movies center on The Creeper, who is on the hunt for human organs and limbs.
