The group of people working on the car is called Project Titan, which consists of 600 people, and Apple plans to boot that number to triple in due time. According to
Apple is building a car from scratch and that is obviously no easy task so the 2019 release date is subject to change. Rumors are that the car will be able to operate without a driver but that is also unlikely.
