Jake Gyllenhaal and Benedict Cumberbatch might get to work together soon. The two superstars are in talks to join The Current War for The Weinstein Company.

The news was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter. It is based on a Black List script by Michael Mitnick that centers on the feud between inventors Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse. TWC has agreed to finance.

Production on the film probably won’t happen for awhile. Alfonso Gomez-Rejon is hoping to direct, but the Me and Earl and the Dying Girl will make Collateral Beauty with Will Smith next. Gyllenhaal will also spend this fall making Nocturnal Animals for Tom Ford.

Cumberbatch can currently be seen on the big screen in a supporting role in Black Mass and was nominated for an Oscar for TWC’s The Imitation Game.

Gyllenhaal also has a movie in theaters, Universal’s Everest. He was also seen in Southpaw this summer.
