Who wants to go to movies on Labor Day weekend? The answer is very few, as this past weekend’s results made obvious.

War Room, the faith-based film from Sony’s Affirm Films, finally ended Straight Outta Compton’s dominance over the box office. However, the numbers aren’t exactly anything Hollywood should scream about. War Room only made $9.35 million from Friday to Sunday. That’s actually less than its debut weekend, when it made $11 million.

The film only cost Sony $3 million to make and is already up to $27.8 million since its release, notes Box Office Mojo.

According to Rentrak estimates, Universal’s Compton did come in second with $8.8 million. It’s now up to $147.7 million domestically.

A Walk In The Woods, which is being distributed by Broad Green Pictures, had been in theaters since last Wednesday. It made $8.2 million over the weekend, bringing its total up to $10.2 million.

Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation added another $7.1 million, while The Transporter Refueled flopped with just $7.1 million in its first weekend.

The surprise of the weekend was easily Un Gallo con Muchos Huevos, a Spanish-language Mexican animated film that Lionsgate is releasing in the U.S. Despite only being shown in 395 locations, the film made a whopping $3.4 million, which put it in the Top 12 for the weekend! It came in at No. 8.

Overall, Top 12 only grossed a combined $65.8 million, according to Box Office Mojo numbers. While it is evidence that Labor Day isn’t an important holiday for Hollywood, it’s important to note that the holiday was much later than usual. Labor Day 2014 was on Sept. 1 and Guardians of the Galaxy was still riding high at that point.
