Dakota Johnson’s sexual role in Fifty Shades of Grey as Anastasia Steele actually has the opposite effect on her real love life.
While on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Johnson said her role in the sexy films have scared off men.
“Do you notice a difference in guys approaching you or not approaching you?" DeGeneres asked her, to which she replied, "You mean, like, when they run away from me?”
She also joked guys “run for the hills” and have become “scared” of her since the film, also starring Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey, came out.
Johnson also told an “awkward” story about a cab driver who told her he saw the film with his wife and was hoping to spice up his sex life by watching it with her.
The daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson will next be seen in Black Mass alongside Johnny Depp, which hits theaters Friday, Sept. 18.
