Jessica Simpson was in rare form during a TV appearance on the Home Shopping Network Thursday.
ET reported the Twitter erupted with questions and accusations about Simpson being drunk after she slurred some of her words, seemed confused and was unsteady while trying to promoting her clothing line.
The mother of two spoke about her sister Ashlee Simpson rambling that her and husband may share their clothes and it’s “hot.”
"Ashlee is like the best at wearing gray,” the 35-year-old said. “My sister...Like, she's very rock 'n' roll, but there's something about a gray that's like...sexy. Maybe it's her and her husband, they share jeans...I have no idea...I don't know. There's just something hot about them."
After that, Twitter users really started reacting to what was happening.
E! Online noted that the show’s host Colleen Lopez played it cool on camera and told Simpson that woman just “obsess” over the jeans to which Simpson said, "Maybe men, too.”
Her odd demeanor being announced on social media actually got more eyes on HSN and in turn may have even increased sales as it was a sellout show.
