Demi Lovato stunned at the MTV Video Music Awards and is following up her "Cool for the Summer" performance with a unique cover at BBC's Radio 1 lounge.
Lovato performed a cover of "Take Me To Church" by Hozier during her stop at Radio 1. She added a jazz twist to the rock heavy song and delivered an incredible performance that caught the attention of Hozier himself. He took to Twitter and thanked Lovato for the gorgeous cover.
The "Skyscraper" singer is currently on a promotional tour for her upcoming album Confident. Confident is set to be released on October 16th. She opened up about how this album is different compared to her others. She also explained why this album is very personal. "I'm going to show the world that you can go from having an eating disorder and hating your body to wearing underwear on the cover of a magazine and love it. You know, it's possible," explain Lovato.
“This album is not just about the things that I've been through, it's more mature, it's sexier, it's soulful. It’s a new chapter in my life, I’m tired of my past defining who I am."
