According to Entertainment Weekly, the film’s first trailer will be released Monday, Sept. 14 on Access Hollywood.

As we previously reported, the film adaptation will feature the voices of Bill Murray as Baloo, Scarlett Johansson as Kaa, Lupita Nyong’o as Raksha, Christopher Walken as King Louie and Giancarlo Esposito as Akela and is directed by Jon Favreau.

In an interview at the D23 Expo in August, Favreau told E! News, "It is going to be a very different experience in that it's much more visceral. You feel the threat of the jungle, as well as the beauty of the jungle. You feel the power of those beasts as well as the story that they have to tell.”

He added, “You feel that there is something very muscular and vivid about those animals. When the elephants came onto the screen, the audience gasped because they do look like a herd of elephants in the jungle. You cannot imagine that that was created in a laboratory. It's almost impossible to believe that you're watching computer-generated images."

Disney’s The Jungle Book will premiere on Apr. 15, 2016.
