Ed Sheeran shared a bit of good news and a bit of bad news today.
The British singer took to social media to give fans news regarding his music career. The good news: Sheeran and Rudimental have released a new song, bad news: Sheeran is taking a break from releasing music “for a while.”
“This is my final thing I’m releasing for a while. Bad news if you like me, great news if you don’t. We cater for everyone at SheeranCorp,” Sheeran tweeted Thursday afternoon. The new song debuted on BBC Radio 1 Thursday, according to Entertainment Weekly. The song is titled “Lay it All on Me.” This is the second collaboration between Rudimental and Sheeran. They previously released “Bloodstream” together.
Sheeran has been on tour for his album “X” (pronounced “multiply”). He will end his tour in Australia this December. Don’t worry, Sheeran will be making the jump from our playlists to our DVRs this fall. He has a recurring role on the new FX series Bastard Executioner.
