Kelly Clarkson has canceled six shows on her Piece by Piece tour. These were the final remaining dates on her United States leg of the tour.
Clarkson took to Twitter and apologized to her fans for having to cancel. "This kills me, but doctors are saying I need to rest my voice! Please know that I never cancel anything unless it's absolutely necessary," wrote the "Since U Been Gone" singer.
There has been no word yet if these six dates would be rescheduled at a later date.
The next portion of the tour, the international leg, is set to kick off on Oct. 1 in Ontario, Canada. As of now, Clarkson is still set to continue the tour.
The Piece by Piece tour has been making headlines almost on a weekly basis as Clarkson picks a unique song to cover each show. Her covers ranged from Nick Jonas to Prince.
