Kelly Clarkson cancels U.S. tour dates

Kelly Clarkson has canceled the remainder of her U.S. tour dates.

The singer was forced to cancel six dates of her Piece by Piece Tour after her doctor told her that she needs to rest her voice.

“So bummed that I have to cancel some of my tour dates. This kills me, but doctors are saying I need to rest my voice,” Clarkson tweeted. “I can’t wait to get healthy and see y’all back on the road soon. I hate canceling…”

Clarkson was schedule to perform in Vienna, Virginia on Sept. 12 and 13, Tampa, Florida on Sept. 15, West Palm Beach, Florida on Sept. 17, Raleigh, North Carolina on Sept. 19 and Camden, New Jersey on Sept. 20.

The “Breakaway” singer, who is pregnant with her second child, is expected to resume the tour in Canada in October and in Europe in November.

According to Clarkson’s Twitter, tickets will be refunded at the original point of purchase.
