A man in Berkeley, California ordered food from his local Domino’s but a box that was supposed to contain wings actually had $1300 cash inside it.

KGO reported that Mike Vegas ordered pizza and wings from Domino’s. After eating some of the pizza he placed that box along with the unopened wings box in his refrigerator. When he went back for his food later he was shocked to find a wad of cash in the wings box.

"About 5 a.m., I got home from work and went to my refrigerator and pulled out what I thought was wings. It turned out to be $1300 bucks," Vegas said.

He was then faced with the decision of returning the money or keeping it, so he wrote about it on social media to see what others thought he should do.

"I wrote a Facebook post and of course there's a long list of people arguing you should keep it, you shouldn't keep it, you should keep it, you shouldn't keep it" he said. "I wanted to keep it, believe me. But I can't, I can't do that."

It turns out the delivery person was headed to the bank after he dropped off Vegas’ food and placed the cash in box.

To show appreciation for his honesty the manager of the restaurant has awarded Vegas with free pizza for a whole year.
