A new trailer for Danny Boyle’s Steve Jobs, written by Aaron Sorkin, was released by Universal today. Coming after the film’s screening in Telluride, the trailer focuses on the pressure put on Apple co-founder Steve Jobs and the pressure he put on others to perform.
Steve Jobs is based on Walter Isaacson’s biography of the late Jobs and focuses on three different product launches throughout his life. Michael Fassbender stars as Jobs and the rest of the cast includes Kate Winslet, Jeff Daniels, Katherine Waterston, Seth Rogen and Michael Stuhlbarg.
Universal has recently changed up the film’s release, putting it out in New York and Los Angeles on Oct. 9. It will then go wide on Oct. 23. It will also be screened at the New York Film Festival.
The film has earned wide critical praise so far, with a 90 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. You can check out previous teasers for the film here and here.
