A Patti LaBelle fan learned she does not approve of suggestive dancing the hard way.
At a concert in Vancouver on Sept. 19, LaBelle invited fans to dance on stage to her hit song “Lady Marmalade,” but she was not pleased when one of the men started to take off his shirt, according to TMZ.
“Don’t you dare, not on my stage!” LaBelle said. “I am not Nicki Minaj or that little, uh, Miley.”
The same fan continued to cause trouble after he went to take off his pants and expose his behind. LaBelle was not happy.
“Get off of my goddarn stage, bitch,” the singer said. “And stay off. Put him out of the building. Put him out! How dare you!”
Security removed the fan from the stage.
LaBelle later apologized to her fans for cursing. “I’m so sorry you heard me say a bad word. I’m so sorry,” she said “I’m a Gemini and things come out of my mouth sometimes that I try to control.”
According to Billboard, LaBelle had a similar incident in Kansas City in 2007. A fan, who was also invited on stage, was dancing too close to her and she called him out.
