The issue of climate change is bringing together some of the biggest names in music. Jon Bon Jovi, Paul McCartney, Sheryl Crow and Fergie will be recording "Love Song to the Earth." The single was released today on iTunes and Apple Music.
Bon Jovi and McCartney invited some current chart topping artists to sing on the track including; Nicole Scherzinger, Natasha Bedingfield, Angelique Kidjo, Kelsea Ballerini and Victoria Justice.
"Love" was written by Bedingfield, McCartney, Toby Gad and John Shanks, Billboard reported.
"Love Song to the Earth" was created in order to support a U.N. conference in Paris that will be taking place in December. The conference is focused on bringing together over 190 nations to discuss global warming and prevent it from reaching hazardous levels.
The Chicago Tribune reported that all proceeds from the single will be donated towards the United Nations Foundation and Friends of the Earth.
The single will be given a wide release on Sept. 11.
