Recording artists Prince announced that he will be hosting a three-day event this weekend at his Paisley Park studio in Chanhassen, Minnesota.
Prince announced the “international dance party” via Twitter on Wednesday.
The party is being held to celebrate the singer’s new HITNRUN album. Doors for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday event open at 9:30 p.m. all three nights and tickets go for $40 each. The party will feature food and live music, likely some by Prince himself.
The Pioneer Press noted that his new album will be available for Tidal users on Monday. The streaming service subscription starts at $9.99 a month.
HITNRUN was co-produced with Joshua Welton. He previously worked with Prince on his 2014 album, "Art Official Age," and is married to the singer’s 3rdEyeGirl band member, Hannah.
The Paisley Park studio complex, where the event will be held, is about a 25-minute trip from Minneapolis and with Prince hosting it’s sure to be a good, wild time.
