Legendary music producer Quincy Jones was rushed to the hospital Thursday, but his representative now says that he is doing fine. Jones also gave an update on his health on Twitter.
Sources told TMZ that Jones, 82, was rushed to the hospital from his Bel-Air home. An ambulance was called at 1:20 p.m. The site reported that he was having chest pains.
Jones’ rep later told People that he is “fine” and that he was suffering from shortness of breath.
"He had some shortness of breath and in an abundance of caution he went in for observation. He is fine though," his rep added.
Jones also told his fans on Twitter that “all is good” and “Still much to do.”
Jones is one of the most influential figures in popular music, with 27 Grammy wins and has spent over six decades in the music business. He’s worked with artist from Stevie Wonder to Michael Jackson and produced Jackson’s Thriller album. He has also been nominated for seven Oscars for his work in film and won the 1995 Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award.
