It appears that T.I. has officially ended his business relationship with Iggy Azalea.

On Wednesday, the “Whatever You Like” rapper stopped by the "Ebro in the Morning" show and explained when and why he parted ways with his “Fancy” protégé.

When asked about Iggy Azalea, the rapper spoke candidly and confirmed that their relationship had gone sour, noting that the breaking point happened “after the Q-Tip thing.”

Last December, Azalea feuded with Q-Tip, the A Tribe Called Quest front-man on Twitter after he kindly offered her a history lesson on the origins of Hip Hop and its ties to sociopolitical movements.

“Everything was cool and then they came back and undid what I just did,” T.I. said of Azalea. “It’s not that I got tired of cleaning it up….I’m loyal partner and If I rock with you I rock with you. Right or wrong. We’ll discuss that later in the car. But right now, I’ma block the bullets, but when I say go…go. Just go. Don’t stand around and talk while I’m blocking bullets. I just feel they needed some time to adjust.”

Within the last year, Azalea had been criticized by other industry artists for appropriating hip-hop culture and reaping its benefits while failing to respect its origins and pioneers.

Besides the Q-Tip fiasco, Azalea also engaged in a vitriolic Twitter spat with Azealia Banks around the same time, even drawing the ire of hacker group Anonymous.

Aside from discussing his falling out with Azalea, T.I. also discussed the recent Drake vs Meek Mill debacle and promoted his new EP, Da Nic.
