Target has applied for liquor licenses that could result in a bar opening up inside a new Chicago store. Yes, you won’t have to go home to drink the alcohol you buy there.

Target told USA Today that it plans to open a store in the Streeterville neighborhood in October. The company applied for a Package Goods license and a Consumption on Premises licence, according to city records. However, Target didn’t give any details about its plans.

The store is also set to be a smaller Target store, similar to the old TargetExpress and CityTarget stores. While these names are gone, Target is still planning on opening in urban areas.

Target isn’t the only unexpected place where we might soon find alcohol and beer being served. Taco Bell will offer beer at a Chicago location. Starbucks is planning on adding wine and craft beer.

Other stores, including Kroger and Duane Reade are also adding bar areas.
