The Weeknd earned his first number one album on the Billboard 200 album charts.

Beauty Behind the Madness, the singer's third album, debuted at the top spot and is the second highest debut of 2015. Billboard reported that the album opened with 412,000 album units, 326,000 of which were pure album sales.

The Weeknd's sales earned him the second highest weekly unit total of 2015 so far, only behind Drake's mixtape If You're Reading This It's Too Late, which opened with 535,000 units (495,000 in album sales).

The Weeknd's first album, Trilogy, which was a remastered compilation of his first three mixtapes, debuted and peaked at number four in 2012. In 2013, his second album, Kiss Land, debuted and peaked at number two.

Beauty Behind the Madness has already had huge success with its singles. "Can't Feel My Face" hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. "Earned It," originally featured on the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack, peaked at number three and "The Hills" peaked at number four.

The Weeknd will kick off The Madness Tour in Toronto, Ontario on Nov. 3. The tour will travel to cities like Chicago, Boston, New York and Los Angeles.
