The comedic action film stars Nick Nolte, Robert Redford, Emma Thompson, Nick Offerman and Mary Steenburgen. The one hour and forty-four minute film is rated R for language and sex.
Attractive and dangerous women lure a former special agent into participating in a bank heist in The Transporter Refueled. He is convinced to use his skills in the robbery as the women’s revenge against a ruthless Russian leader. The PG-13 action thriller runs for one hour and thirty-six minutes.
A nearly washed-up tennis player reaches out to his estranged brother to be his doubles partner in Break Point. In his final attempt to resurrect his tennis career, Jimmy realizes that the only chance he may have at winning an Open is with his brother, a substitute teacher. The limited released comedy stars Jeremy Sisto, David Walton, Joshua Rush, J.K. Simmons and Amy Smart. The one hour and thirty minute film is rated R for language and sex.
An Inuit Eskimo comes to New York City with a message for change in Chloe and Theo. A young woman is inspired by his directive and helps spread his word to others and the leaders of the world. The limited released drama stars Dakota Johnson, Theo Ikummaq and Mira Sorvino. The PG-13 film plays for one hour and twenty-one minutes.
Two coworkers learn a lot about each other during a business trip in Dirty Weekend. When their flight gets delayed in Albuquerque, the two go around town and learn each other’s secrets. The comedic drama stars Matthew Broderick and Alice Eve. The unrated film is playing in limited theaters for one hour and thirty-three minutes.
It’s a battle between the East and the West in Dragon Blade. In the limited released film, an invading Roman Empire tries to take control of Silk Road, but a group of warriors won’t let it go without a fight. John Cusack, Adrien Brody and Jackie Chan star in the two hour and seven minute action adventure. It’s rated R for violence.
A deadly virus is spreading across the globe in Contracted: Phase II. A man suffering from the disease searches for the cure and realizes that another person might play a pivotal role in getting rid of the illness. The unrated, one hour and eighteen minute thriller is available in limited theaters.
Get a look at the private side of Apple founder Steve Jobs in Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine. The two hour and seven minute documentary features archival footage and interviews with some those that were close to him. The limited released film is rated R for language.
Just as The Transporter Refueled and Contracted: Phase II took audiences on a thrill ride this week, The Perfect Guy and M. Night Shyamalan’s The Visit plan to do the same next week. Also debuting in theaters on September 11 is Hayden Christensen and Kate Bosworth’s new drama, 90 Minutes in Heaven.
