The Transporter Refueled isn't likely to impress at the box office over this long holiday weekend. Transporter won the box office on Friday in North America bringing in over $2.4 million but isn't likely to take the top spot.
Transporter stars Ed Skrein, Loan Chabanol, Ray Stevenson and Lenn Kudrjawizki. Skrein is replacing Jason Statham who previously lead the franchise.
This weekend also features A Walk in the Woods which stars Robert Redford and Nick Nolte. The film is already over performing its early tracking numbers. Woods is on pace to make $8 million-$10 million this weekend, The Hollywood Reporter added.
The battle for the number one spot at the box office will likely be coming down between the reigning champion Straight Outta Compton and War Room. Compton is expected to make about $12 million for the weekend and War Room already earned $2.3 million on Friday.
Compton has topped the box office for the past three weeks, Rentrak reported.
The N.W.A. biopic has already crossed $100 million at the domestic box office and set the record for the highest grossing debut for an R rated film in August.
