Hey, Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer, Amy Adams wants to be your friend! Lawrence’s American Hustle co-star said at an event this week that she’s still waiting for an invitation to their group.
During a chat at Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film & TV in Los Angeles, Adams said that she wants an invitation to the squad, which is starting to rival Taylor Swift’s.
“I’m waiting for Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer to invite me to their party!” Adams said, reports The Hollywood Reporter. “So, I hope I was funny today so they will invite me to their next boating party! I’m a little more neurotic than both of them, but I think that would be — they need a little of that, and they’re both so cool and I could be the ‘not-cool’ person.”
Schumer and Lawrence have become great friends in recent months, since Schumer’s star has continued to rise. Even Bette Midler said that she wants to be friends with them and work on their movie together.
Adams worked with Lawrence on David O. Russell’s American Hustle, which earned both of them an Oscar. While Lawrence has already won an Oscar, Adams is still waiting on her’s, despite five nominations.
Adams’ next film is Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which opens in March. She just finished filming Denis Villeneuve's Story Of Your Life and will next get to work on Tom Ford’s Nocturnal Animals.
