In a new interview actress Ashley Judd revealed that she was sexually harassed by a Hollywood-movie mogul.

The 47-year-old told Variety that while filming the movie Kiss the Girls in the ‘90s a rival studio executive contacted her about a role. She agreed to meet him and said that while in his hotel room he asked her to watch him shower.

"In that moment, I told him something like, 'When I win an Academy Award in one of your movies.' He said, 'No, when you get nominated.' I said, 'No, no, when I win an Academy Award,'" Judd recounted. "That was a small moment of power when I was able to contradict him and hold to my reality. And then I got out of there. And by the way, I've never been offered a movie by that studio. Ever."

The actress would not name the executive but said he is very well known.

As People noted, Judd has spoken out against other serious issues in the past including cyber-bullying and gender violence. She hopes that speaking about this issue now will create a dialogue and show other woman going through the same thing that they too have power and a voice against harassment.
