A deposition Bobbi Kristina Brown’s good friend and former roommate, Danyela Bradley, reveals the only daughter of Whitney Houston was abusing drugs in the weeks leading up to her being found unconscious in her home in January.

Brown died in July after six months of being in a coma, and Bradley’s September deposition now shows Brown had similar problems her late mother had.

“She smoked marijuana, she probably smoked crack often, and also did heroin,” her friend said in a deposition Atlanta’s 11Alive obtained.

The deposition was not in relation to the civil suit against Brown’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, who is being accused of giving her a “toxic” cocktail of drugs before she was found unconscious, but instead it was for a car crash Brown and Bradley had been in.

“When I first lived with her I didn’t know that she had actually had a problem with [drugs] until I had lived with her …for a couple of weeks,” she continued of Brown’s alleged drug issues. “[But] I guess after a few weeks she just didn’t really hide it."

Bradley said Brown rarely did drugs in front of her, but she recalls she did crack and heroin “like every two weeks or so” and smoked marijuana “probably like two or three days out of the week.”

To the contrary of what Brown’s family thinks about her relationship with Gordon, Bradley testified the two had a “very happy, loving relationship” and she “hated being away from” him “no matter what.”
