Jennifer Lawrence mentioned her American Hustle co-star Bradley Cooper’s name in her Lenny Letter op/ed about the gender pay gap in Hollywood and he responded during an interview promoting his new film Burnt on Tuesday.

She wrote in an op/ed published this week, which states that she blames herself for making less than her male co-stars; Cooper, Christian Bale and Jeremy Renner, calling herself a “failed negotiator.”

“I’m over trying to find the ‘adorable’ way to state my opinion and still be likable,” she wrote. “F— that.”

Cooper had not read the op/ed when asked about it by E! News, but he did comment on the way Sienna Miller handled a deal.

“One thing I could say is that's interesting because if you think that you only deserve a certain amount and that's not correct, it's about changing that mindset and sticking up for yourself,” he said.

When asked what he was referring to about Miller, she replied, "I walked away from a play that I wanted to do because I was offered less than half of what the other man was offered.”
