Looks like Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence are “never” going to be romantically involved.
The 40-year-old opened up on Howard Stern's Sirius XM radio show about why he and the woman, who has starred alongside him in several movies, have always kept things strictly platonic.
"It just didn't happen," the actor said. "It's not the way we are together."
He added that he and the 25-year-old Lawrence would “never” have sex.
Cooper then clarified a comment he previously made about not dating the actress because of their age difference.
"I said that once on a red carpet just as a diffuse thing," he admitted. "And then it became a thing because the girl I was seeing [23-year-old Suki Waterhouse] was as young as she was."
So while the two probably won’t ever be a Hollywood couple, they are close friends and always support one another. This was true recently when Lawrence penned an op-ed on gender pay inequality and Cooper agreed that there is a double standard and it’s a problem.
