Bristol Palin, who is now seven and a half months pregnant, announced on Instagram Monday that she is expecting a girl.
Her baby girl will become little sister to Palin's six-year old son Tripp whom she had with ex-boyfriend and high school sweetheart Levi Johnston. However, the father of the daughter still remains a mystery but there is speculation that it may be her ex-fiance Dakota Meyer, according to Radar Online.
Palin also announced the sex of her baby in a blog post about birth control.
"I know I'm the last to talk about birth control. (Two baby daddies right? LOLZ!)," she wrote. "But I am expecting a girl and do have a 14 year old sister and I would be so concerned for her going into a clinic and having something pretty serious put into her body."
Naturally, her opinions on birth control were met with some backlash, but it was not the first time the 24-year-old has come under fire. When she announced her second pregnancy back in June, she received heavy criticism. Considering that she was a former Abstinence Ambassador, she was blasted on social media by some as a hypocrite.
Palin herself referred to her second pregnancy as a "huge disappointment" in a blog post. The baby girl is expected to arrive in December.
