Daisy Ridley has about as much experience as Carrie Fisher did when she first joined the Star Wars saga, so it’s a good idea for the young British actress to listen to Fisher’s advice. In a new interview between the two, Fisher told Ridley that she needs to make sure she never has to wear a slave costume.

Fisher did end up wearing a slave costume during the first portion of Return of the Jedi and it is one of the most famous costumes in film history. But Fisher doesn’t think Ridley should have to be put through wearing a gold bikini.

In a discussion for Interview Magazine, Ridley asked Fisher how she felt about being considered a sex symbol because of that costume.

“Listen! I am not a sex symbol, so that's an opinion of someone. I don't share that,” Fisher said.

“I don't think that's the right...” Ridley started before Fisher cut her off.

“Word for it? Well, you should fight for your outfit. Don't be a slave like I was,” Fisher said.

Ridley then promised that she would fight to make sure she never has to wear a slave outfit.

The costume Ridley does wear as Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens has already become a Halloween costume, so don’t be surprised if a young girl walks up to your door tonight in a Rey outfit. “I've seen some really cute kids dressed as Rey. I love that,” Ridley told Fisher.

You can see both Ridley and Fisher in The Force Awakens on Dec. 18.
