Chris Rock has caused a stir by posting a meme about Lamar Odom, who’s currently recovering from being found unconscious in a legal brothel last week.
He has since reconciled with his estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian, who legally called off their divorce this week.
A lot of Rock’s fans found the joke funny, but there were also commenters who thought it was too soon after his near-death crisis.
The meme read, "Here's to Lamar Odom on being the first guy in history to have coke and hookers save his marriage." He captioned the post, “Stay strong Lamar.”
The responses ranged anywhere from, “Not sure if I should consider this inappropriate or hail you as a God damn genius,” to “Keep'em honest!! Too many comedians have gone PC. If you end up apologizing for this, I've lost all respect for you,” to “how insensitive.”
