"Don't bite the hand that feeds you," is a metaphor that Daniel Craig might be learning the hard way. Craig made some extreme comments during an interview with Time Out London regarding his involvement in the spy franchise, saying that he would rather "slash his wrists" than complete another Bond film. Executives at Sony are reportedly not pleased with these comments.

Page Six reported that Sony executives have told Craig to be quiet about the comments. Sources close to the film explained that Craig had a very difficult time shooting Spectre and those circumstances might be the reason behind the odd and harsh comments. "They had problems initially with the script, Craig was injured on the set and needed knee surgery, and they were still doing re-shoots last month, even though the movie is out in weeks. It was a very difficult shoot, to say the least," explained sources from Spectre.

As previously reported despite making those comments, Craig was still open about talking about the future of the Bond franchise during his interview. He did say that he would not rule out the possibility of returning to the role after he takes a break. He stressed that he really wanted to take a break "for at least a year or two."

Representatives from both Sony and Craig haven't commented on the situation. Spectre opens on November 6, 2015.
