Eminem’s new music video “Phenomenal”, the hit track for the movie Southpaw, debuted on Vevo Thursday.
The video was originally released exclusively through Apple music in July but now it's available for everyone to watch.
According to M Live, Eminem is the Executive Producer of the Southpaw soundtrack which includes a second song from him entitled “Kings Never Die” featuring Gwen Stefani.
The video is packed with action scenes as he wakes up in a hospital and must break out in order to make it to his show getting into a number of fights along the way.
NME also reported that Eminem was originally set to star in the film but had to postpone the project and later dropped out. Jake Gyllenhal went on to fill that role.
Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, has been somewhat quiet musically the last year. His latest album, the Marshall Mathers LP 2, was released in September 2013 and has sold over 5 million copies worldwide.
Southpaw debuted in theaters back in July and featured Gyllenhal as a boxer who loses it all when tragedy strikes and must fight to get his life back together.
