Gia Giudice, the 14-year-old daughter of Joe and Teresa Giudice, is opening up about how she’s dealing with her mom serving a 15-month prison sentence and her father getting ready to serve a 4-year sentence right after.

Gia has stepped up to help her dad with her three sisters; Gabriella, 10, Milania, 9, and Audriana, 5, as Teresa serves her sentence and she proved just how strong she’s been in the wake of all the chaos in her family.

“Anything can happen to any family, and it could be worse," she told Entertainment Tonight of her mindset. "At least no one's sick -- that's honestly how I think of it. They're coming home. My mom's coming home. My dad's going to come home. Knock on wood, no one's sick, no one's dying."

She added that she’s so excited for her mom to get released on Dec. 23 that she doesn’t even need to “prepare” for it.

"It’s not even something to prepare for,” she said. “I'm just so happy for that to happen. It's going to be good to have it back to normal for a couple months, but then when my dad leaves, it's just going to be the same thing all over again."

Joe recently admitted he doesn't even think about his own sentence, saying, "If you do that, you’re just gonna drive yourself crazy, and there’s no point.”

This Sunday Bravo will begin airing the three-part special The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In.
