Gwen Stefani is letting her music do the talking.
The singer debuted a new song called “Used to Love You” at the MasterCard Priceless Surprises concert in New York City on Saturday, according to E! News.
Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale announced their split in August.
"I just want to share a song that I wrote recently," Stefani said to her fans. "This song is really special. I think this is gonna be the new single."
The breakup ballad’s lyrics are "Yeah, boy/ Thought this would happen / I let it sink in /You're gone.”
Other lines included "I don't know why I cry / But I think it's 'cause I remembered for the first time / Since I hated you / That I used to love you."
Stefani and Rossdale, who were married in 2002, have three sons together, Kingston, 9, Zuma, 6, and Apolo, 1.
The Voice coach and her ex-husband have not commented on their split since the announcement.
