Heidi Klum shares four children with her ex-husband, Seal, and she’s opening up about co-parenting with him after splitting up three years ago.
Klum talked about being a working mom in the November issue of Redbook, saying things haven’t changed too much when it comes to their divorce because they don’t live normal lives and work 9-5 jobs.
“Obviously things have changed, but they haven’t changed drastically," she said. "[Seal] was never your typical dad who left for work in the morning with his briefcase and would be home by dinnertime every night.”
She added, “He traveled a lot. The kids knew it was part of his job. I’m a mom and a dad at the same time.”
Klum and Seal had three biological children together; Henry, Johan and Lou, and Seal adopted her daughter Leni while they were still married.
“Women are capable of juggling a lot of balls -- we do things that guys just cannot do,” she continued. “Men typically can juggle only one ball, and even then they’re like, ‘I’m confused.’”
The former couple’s divorce was finalized in 2014 and she has revealed she’s in love with her current boyfriend, Vito Schnabel.
