There might already be giant Hershey’s Kisses, but the the chocolate maker unveiled another big Kisses product today, just in time for the holiday season.
Called the Hershey’s Kisses Deluxe, it is double the size of the small Kisses and will feature a hazelnut center with rice crisps inside. The product will hit stores in the U.S. on Nov. 5.
“It took 55 years just to change the color of the foil,” Adam Borden, senior associate manager for Hershey’s Kisses, told USA Today. “Then it took another 38 years to put something inside the milk chocolate. We’re getting better, but it does take us a little while to tinker with something that is iconic as a brand Milton Hershey founded himself.”
Chinese consumers got the first taste of the Deluxe Kisses back in 2013 and was a major hit for the company. Now, the product is coming to the U.S. and will be marketed as gluten-free since they used rice crisps instead of wheat crisps.
The Deluxe Kisses come in gold wrappers instead of silver and come in packs of three and four. Larger gift sizes will also be available and a 75-count box will only be available online for $32, notes the Associated Press. The candy will be available through Valentine’s Day,
