After being named one of the Most Influential Teens two years in a row, Kylie Jenner says she does want to be an inspiration for young girls.

Being a trendsetter for her fans and having about 60 million followers on her social media accounts are some of the reasons why Time selected the youngest member of the Jenner-Kardashian clan as one of the most influential.

During an interview with the 18-year-old, she was asked about why she thought people did not agree with her making the list.

“I think people expect a lot out of [me and my family],” Jenner said. “Whether we’re influential for one reason or another, it is what it is. I know how influential I am over my fans and followers. I feel like everything I do, my hair color, my makeup, I always start these huge trends, and I don’t even realize what I’m capable of. I didn’t care what people had to say; I didn’t even read any of that stuff. People might have been upset because we were next to, like, young girls who started schools and crazy things. But we’re just different people! We’re influential in different ways, and that’s okay.”

When asked about her talents Jenner said that she just wants to be an inspiration for other teen girls.

“I just want to inspire my fans to be whoever they want to be, because that’s what I’ve always done. And they know that.”

Her big sister Kim Kardashian also seems to think that her sibling is an influencer and recently said that she has “dethroned” her. Jenner has more followers on social media than the rest of her family.
