Rapper Lil' Wayne is lawyering up and threatening a lawsuit in attempt to stop the release of his recent sex tape.
TMZ obtained a cease and desist letter filed by Wayne's lawyers demanding the site to remove the tape within the next five days or else a lawsuit will be brought forth. Wayne's reps also claim the 33-year-old rap star had no idea he was being filmed.
The tape was reportedly shopped around several weeks ago and was leaked by a site called Diary of a Hollywood Street King.
The site released a statement giving some background on the tape explaining "Last month, Vivid Entertainment was presented with a four-minute clip of the Lil Wayne’s sex tape. After viewing the sex tape, reps at Vivid immediately called their alliance over at TMZ and sold the story....Everyone knows Wayne’s a source for TMZ. That’s why TMZ immediately got at Wayne, telling him about the story. Once they hipped Wayne, he said: ‘If someone sells a sex tape of me with my socks on, I’ll sue."
According to TMZ reports the video shows Wayne with two women and wearing nothing but socks.
It hass been a rough year for Wayne as he's also been caught up in a heated fued with long-time friend and fellow rapper Birdman.
Musically, he's rumored to be working on several projects including a collaboration album with Juelz Santana.
