We long wondered what would happen first: a man on Mars or a box full of just Lucky Charms marshmallows. Since the FDA and doctors around the country probably wouldn’t be too happy with the second one, it sounded impossible... until now.
General Mills announced today that they are making marshmallow-only boxes of Lucky Charms. Even though the company says that they have received countless emails, calls and messages on social media begging for such a product, there will only be 10 total boxes made. That. Is. It.
The only way to get these boxes is to enter a contest by taking a selfie with your imaginary box of Lucky Charms and post it on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #Lucky10Sweepstakes. The contest started on Wednesday and ends on Sunday.
General Mills enlisted Biz Markie to do a really strange version of “Just A Friend” where he sings about boxes of just marshmallows.
Of course, this being 2015, we do have to ask - isn’t someone out there selling bags full of just cereal marshmallows online? As Consumerist points out, yes, there is someone. For $10.39, you can get a generic bag of cereal marshmallows.
