The University of Connecticut student known as the mac and cheese guy, whose profane tirade against a food service supervisor because he wanted bacon jalapeno macaroni and cheese, no longer attends the school.

The Hartford Courant noted that university spokeswoman Stephanie Reitz confirmed that Luke Gatti was no longer a student there but would not comment further on the details of his departure. It has been reported that he is banned from stepping onto school property as well.

On Oct. 4, the freshman from Bayville, New York, was videotaped going on a profanity-laced rant for not being served bacon jalapeno mac and cheese at a campus eatery. He appeared to be intoxicated, ended up shoving the supervisor and had to be held down until police arrive.

The video was posted to YouTube and ended up going viral. Gatti later issued an apology to everyone involved for his actions in another YouTube video.

The Daily Hampshire Gazette reported that prior to enrolling at UConn, the 19-year-old attended the University of Massachusetts and was arrested twice for disorderly conduct. In one of those instances he allegedly directed a racial slur at a police officer.

Criminal charges for his latest incident are pending.
