Watching The Cosby Show hasn't been the same since the allegations about Bill Cosby came to light, and one of the stars of the series now says he agrees with that assessment.

In an interview with The New York Daily News, Malcolm-Jamal Warner said that The Cosby Show's legacy is now tarnished. He said that this is especially sad because people of color have always had The Cosby Show to hold up against negative stereotypes on television.

"And the fact that we no longer have that, that's the thing that saddens me the most because in a few generations the Huxtables will have been just a fairy tale," Warner said.

The actor, who played Theo Huxtable, also revealed that he has had personal conversations with Cosby since the allegations came out, but he would not go into any specifics, simply saying that it's a bad situation all around.

Not all of the former Cosby Show stars agree with Warner, though. Keshia Knight Pulliam, known for playing Rudy Huxtable on the show, said that the series is too important to too many people to be ruined by the scandal.

"You can't take back the impact that it's had on generations of kids, and it's continuing to have such a positive impact on them," she said. "So I feel like the place that it has in people's hearts is such a nostalgic part of childhood and beyond, it's going to be difficult to take back those memories."

Earlier this year, TV Land pulled all reruns of The Cosby Show from their schedule in response to Cosby being accused of sexual assault by over 50 women. He has not be charged with a crime.
