Bill Cosby is facing a new set of troubles, with model Chloe Goins accusing the disgraced Cosby Show star of sexually assaulting her in 2008.
Goins, 25, sued Cosby in Los Angeles federal court, alleging he sexually abused her at the Playboy mansion seven years ago. Her lawyer pointed out that Goins was a teenager when the incident happened. She alleges she was drugged by him and when she woke up, he was masturbating above her naked body.
“Your experience is just like mine, and mine just like yours. We are not alone," she said outside LAPD headquarters on Tuesday, Los Angeles Times reports. "This has been going on long enough. It is time Bill Cosby was held accountable for his actions."
Her case is the first that Cosby would face legal punishment for if convicted, since the legal deadline for prosecuting these cases in California is 10 years.
Goins' lawyer, Spencer Kuvin, told Fox411, "Now that we’ve filed this lawsuit, our primary focus will be to force Mr. Cosby to publicly address the facts of the sexual assault that occurred in 2008 and hold him accountable for his vile actions."
Over 40 other women have filed lawsuits against Cosby for similar allegations.
