Over the weekend, NBC and Fox made two major moves with their new shows. NBC extended the first season of Blindspot, making it the first show of the new season to get a full season order. Over at Fox, Minority Report’s episode count was cut.

Blindspot stars Jaimie Alexander as a mysterious Jane Doe who arrives in Times Square in the nude and covered in tattoos. She teams up with an FBI agent, played by Sullivan Stapleton, whose name was tattooed on her back.

As The Hollywood Reporter points out, the show has averaged a 2.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic. The full season order gives the show’s first season nine more episodes.

Things aren’t so rosy for Fox’s Minority Report, which is loosely based on the Steven Spielberg/Tom Cruise movie of the same name. It stars Meagan Good and Stark Sands. Collider notes that the series hit the dreaded 0.7 18-49 rating, which usually spells cancellation for shows. Fox will only air the first 10 episodes, holding the last three for whatever extra slot the network finds.

CBS also cancelled Halle Berry’s Extant last week. As a result, only Zoo will return on CBS in the summer.
