New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones won the NFL Offensive Player of the Month titles for the first month of the young 2015 season.

The NFL announced today that Brady was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Month for the eighth time in his career. Brady, who initially wasn’t even supposed to play during September, has picked up right where he left off at the end of last season. He’s completed 72.2 percent of his passes in the first three games of the season and has passed for 1,112 yards with a 119.6 passer rating. He hasn’t thrown an interception yet this season.

As for Jones, this is the first time he’s won the NFC Offensive Player of the Month award. He’s started the season on fire, with 34 catchers for 440 years during the Falcons’ three wins. He also has four touchdowns.

Brady isn’t the only member of the Patriots earning a title for September. Kicker Stephen Gostkowski was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Month, as he made his record 425th straight extra point without a miss. He’s also hit all seven of his field goal opportunities.

Linebacker DeMarcus Ware of the Denver Broncos won AFC Defensive Player, with his 3.5 sacks in just three games.

Carolina Panthers cornerback Josh Norman was named NFC Defensive Player thanks to a pick-six and a forced fumble.

Seattle Seahawks kick returner Tyler Lockett has stunned in his first three NFL games and earned NFC Special Teams Player. He’s already returned two kicks for touchdowns.

Tennessee Titans QB Marcus Mariota and Buffalo Bills CB Ronald Darby were named Rookies of the Month.
