President Obama had some fun speaking at a fundraiser in San Francisco Saturday by offering some advice to potential candidate Kanye West.

West said back in August at MTV's Video Music awards he might make a 2020 presidential bid. There is much speculation as to how serious the public should be taking his comments.

The rappper performed at the democratic fundraiser and according to CNN, Obama addressed him stating "You may have heard of this, Kanye is thinking about running for Speaker of the House. It couldn't get any stranger...But in case Kanye is serious about this whole POTUS thing -- or as he calls it 'peezy' I do have advice for him."

Obama went on to give West three pieces of advice. The New York Times reported the first piece of advice was that he would have to "deal with some guys who are strange characters who act like they’re on a reality TV show." The president followed with "Second — this is a second important tip — saying you have a beautiful, dark, twisted fantasy (the name of West's 2010 album), that’s what’s known as off-message, you can’t say things like that. A lot of people have lost their congressional seats saying stuff like this."

Obama then finished with "Number three, do you really believe this country is going to elect as president of the United States a black guy from the South Side of Chicago with a funny name that nobody can pronounce."

It is clear that Obama has not lost his sense of humor since becomming commander-in-chief in 2008. The event drew 1,300 benefactors to the Democratic National Committee, all of whom paid between $250 to $10,000 to attend.
