Iconic porn star Ron Jeremy is resting after his emergency surgery.
As we previously reported, the 59-year-old adult film star underwent emergency surgery after suffering severe chest pain. Jeremy drove himself to Cedars-Sinai Hospital where it was found he was suffering from a heart aneurysm.
He was admitted to the ICU immediately.
His doctor released a statement following his surgery, E! News reports. His rep, Mike Esterman, informs that the star is “now resting with complete privacy and no visitors.” Esterman adds, “Everyone on Ron's team has expressed well wishes and a speedy recovery.”
The surgery is reported as going “smoothly.”
Jeremy is noted as holding the Guinness World holder for appearing in the most appearances in adult films. His list of credits includes,< i>Werewolves in Heat, Bad Signs, A Christmas Orgy, Manson Girls and Alien Babes in Heat.
His rep has not informed how long Jeremy will remain in the hospital, or what his expected length of recovery is.
