The famous thrift shop featured in Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' video for "Thrift Shop" will close after Halloween.
The rapper spoke out against the store's closing, on Twitter, writing "Ah hell no!!" and linking to a Seattle Times article reporting the closure.
The Capitol Hill Seattle Blog, a website for the Capitol Hill community, noted that the store made famous by Macklemore and Lewis would be closing after Halloween. The shop's last day will be Nov. 7.
A spokesperson told the website, "Though unfortunate, certain business conditions have made it necessary to close our Value Village thrift store in the Capital hill neighborhood after a number of years of leasing the space on a month-to-month basis.
"We are deeply grateful for the community that has embraced this store, and we sincerely hope that our long-time shoppers will visit our other Value Village locations in Seattle-area communities including Crown Hill in Ballard and Lake City."
The thrift shop has existed since 1996 when it replaced REI's original flagship store.
Macklemore and Lewis recently announced plans for a U.S. tour beginning on January 2016.
